Today, there is a customer consultation, how much fire pipe does our intelligent fire water monitor need? We all know that fire pipelines are an indispensable part of the fire water cannon system, but for the purpose of saving engineering costs, it is necessary to configure appropriate fire pipelines to ensure sufficient flow. However, the flow rate of the fire water cannon is not fixed, and the flow rate of different types of water cannons is different. How to configure the fire pipeline?
 
For different types of fire water monitors, the flow rate is different, and the size of the pipeline needs to be calculated by formula. In addition, the flow rate required by the standard is not the same as the model of fire water monitor products. Many users do not have the same flow rate. Grasp, can not calculate the exact diameter of the pipe.
In many standards, they only tell how to calculate the relationship between flow rate, caliber, and flow rate, but the ratio of flow rate and caliber is directly given in "Gansu Province DBJ15—2009 Design Specification for Intelligent Active Sprinkler System in Large Spaces" Table, I believe that for many users, it is more intuitive to see how much flow is matched with what diameter pipe.
There are not many models of intelligent fire-fighting water cannons. The commonly used ones are 5L, 10L, 20L, and 30L per second. The standard requires at least 2 water cannons in the room, and the two water cannons can reach any fire point at the same time. Then the flow rate of the water cannon system needs to be at least 10L, 20L, 40L and 60L per second. Of course, the designed flow rate of the water cannon system may be 3 sets of water spraying at the same time, or it may be set to 4 sets of water spraying at the same time, so the pipeline needs to carry the maximum flow according to the different design flow.
Calculated according to the commonly used 10L, 20L, 40L and 60L per second, the calibers of the fire pipelines are DN80, DN100, DN150 and DN200 respectively. This is the commonly used proportional relationship between the pipeline flow and the caliber.
For fire-fighting water cannon systems, not only water cannons, but also water cannons with a flow rate of 40L or more? For explosion-proof intelligent fire-fighting water cannons and electronically-controlled fire-fighting water monitors, there is still a flow of 50L, so the diameter of the pipeline is still DN200, but the pipeline needs to form a dual-circuit setting to meet the needs of the system flow.
There is also a terminal water test device. Because the flow rate of the terminal water test device is small, the diameter of the pipe used is usually DN50. As for the drainage pipe, more DN25 is used.
Although the caliber of fire-fighting pipes for fire-fighting water monitors with different flows is different, according to the flow of water monitors and then according to the standard calculation, it can meet the acceptance of water monitors.
